Travel to Canada

Destination and Travel informs us that traveling to Canada by any means such as air, water, or car, requires you to have proof of your identity and your citizenship.  A passport is preferred but they will take other forms of photo IDs.

Road signs in Canada show the mileage and speed limits in kilometers and in some portions of Canada the signs are only in French.

If you are planning to travel to Canada you need to be aware that if you require medical attention while visiting, it might be difficult to find services if you are not a member of their health care plan.  If you are planning to go on a hunting trip to Canada, be aware of the laws regarding firearms in Canada which are strictly  enforced.
